THE EARLY YEARS!
Mickey Harte is from Lifford, Co Donegal. He had dreams of becoming a Singer/ Songwriter since a young age. At the age of 15 he joined his first band, but after a few years, he went solo.

YOU'RE A STAR!
Last year Mickey went to an audition called "You're a Star" which was being broadcasted by RTE. He got through to the final eight on the day of his audition and he got the most votes. When it came to the next round, Mickey and the other finalists had to sing live on stage. One of Mickey's best preformances was the night he sang "Teenage Kicks" Mickey got through all the rounds. Then came the final, where he was up against Simon Casey. Mickey won and went on to represent Ireland in the Eurovision with "we've got the world." which stayed No. 1 for 5 weeks.

THE EUROVISION!
A few weeks before the Eurovision, Mickey Harte's father died. The Eurovision, when it came, was a very emotional time for Mickey, but his preformance of "We've got the World" was the most moving preformance of all. With a rather disapointing 11th plce Mickey went on to release "Never wanna let u down" and his album "Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong". His album WILL get to No. 1 in the album charts because he is the No. 1 Singer/ Songwriter in Ireland!
